Inferno
Take an interactive tour of Dante’s vision of hell. This page is an illustrated companion to the poetic masterpiece including artwork by Doré, notes from the Ciardi translation, insights to characters and events, and basic maps to each circle. I designed this also in Flash and hope that it can be used as an aid for teachers who use <i>The Inferno</i> in their classes; actually, I’ve had quite a few requests for just that. (Note: there is no circle for misspellers, forgive the errors.)
