Eight weeks from now I will be performing Confessions of a Scaredy Cat on stage. It’s hard to believe that this is becoming a reality. It was an idea in the back of my mind for a while to do a one-person-show but I didn’t really have material appropriate for such a thing and I’m no stand-up comic. Then I decided that this manuscript I had, a memoir I’d written, could be adapted as a performance of some kind. Maybe it would make for a little podcast or online videos. After much contemplation my mind finally made some connections and I thought it could be good for a stage play. Now it’s on the calendar at Berea Arena Theater and I’m very excited to show it to you and to anyone who comes to the live shows this November. I will be blogging about this as the performances draw near so stay tuned, please.
